  For classes 1-9, the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has announced its annual examination promotion policy for 2023. According to the official notification, classes 1 and 2 will have annual examinations like any other class. As a result, all students in class 1 and class 2 will be promoted. Therefore, class 1 and 2 students will receive promotions regardless of their annual examination results. The following requirements must be met by students in classes  3  and  4 . Each subject must achieve a minimum pass percentage of 40%. There can be a failure in one or more subjects, provided the overall percentage of failures is at least 40%. In Punjab, the Education Department has released the schedule for the upcoming annual examinations and the subsequent results. On 31st March, examination results will also be announced. It's that time of year again; students will begin a new academic year from April 1st. In addition to providing clarity and guidance to students, parents, and teachers, the announcement of exam schedules and results has been punctual. In an earlier report, the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) was reported to have finalized the dates for matriculation examinations in schools throughout the province. SSC Part II exams are scheduled to begin on April 3rd, while Part I exams are scheduled to begin on April 28th.
